BIG OL MESS!!!

I had to do a sketch for a project in Advanced Drawing.  It was an awesome practice round.  I thought to myself that I could recreate that same look on a bigger scale for the final project.  WRONG!  To give you more insight it is a self portrait all in a cross hatch system.  I started  drawing on a bigger scale and literally fear came over me.  I doubted every ability I have ever had.  It turned out to be a BIG OL MESS!  I was not impressed at ALLLLL!  I couldn't even look at it.  If it wasn't for being in class I would have literally took a lighter and burned that bix to ASHES....do you hear me!?!?!?!?! I WAS UPSET. 

I was probably thinking too much about the process so nothing was what I predicted to be.  But I guess everything does not come out how you plan it.  So this weekend I will be trying different techniques to get the best darn A I can!  I will not let the scale of a project scare me?
